Payment & balance
Mylven is a prepaid shop. You add funds to your account balance first, and every order on mylven.com is then paid from that balance. This page explains how that works. The seller in every case is MYLVEN LTD.
Adding funds
- Top-ups are made by Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card on the secure page of our payment provider, where 3-D Secure authentication by your bank may be required, or by SEPA bank transfer. The methods open at any moment are the ones shown on the top-up page.
- Each top-up is in euro, up to €1,000; the minimum is €10 by card and €5 by bank transfer. Your bank may apply its own charges.
- For a card top-up we ask for a billing address, because your bank checks it against your card.
- A card top-up is credited once the payment provider confirms it as completed; a payment that is only authorised, declined or abandoned adds nothing.
- For a bank transfer you receive a top-up reference. Write to us quoting it and we reply with the account to pay into; the balance is credited when the transfer reaches us.
Invoices
Every credited top-up receives an invoice, which you can download from the Balance section of your account and from the top-up’s own page.
Paying for an order
At completion, the order total is taken from your balance in one step. If your balance is too low, the order is not placed; you can top up and return, and your satchel is kept as it is. We never charge your card at checkout.
About the balance
- It is a prepayment for goods sold on mylven.com. It is not a bank deposit or electronic money and earns no interest.
- It does not expire, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be spent elsewhere.
- Unspent balance is refunded on request to the card it came from — see the refund policy.
Security
We never see or store your card number; it is entered only on the payment provider’s page. If you notice a payment you do not recognise, contact us at [email protected] straight away.
